Biography

Samuel Phinney was born on 4 November 1676 in Barnstable, Plymouth Colony, the son of John and Mary (Rogers) Finney/Phinney.^[1][2][3]

He married Bethya Smith on 30 April 1713 in Eastham,^[4] possibly the daughter of John and Mary (Eldredge) Smith, born Eastham 16 January 1681/2.^[3][5]

Samuel was living in 1723 when his daughter Mary was baptized. No probate records are found in Barnstable County for Samuel or Bethya.^[3]
